The Curse - Monday and Tuesday

“How much money do you have to spend?” Sarah called out from behind Cathy’s laptop.

“On what?” Cathy called back from the bedroom.  She was having trouble deciding on what to wear with a missing arm and leg.

“On equipment.  Medical equipment, adaptive devices...  I can’t believe a lifelong devotee doesn’t even have a pair of crutches in her house.” Sarah called back.

Cathy hopped back into the room, still supporting herself on the wall.  She wore a knee length skirt, t-shirt, and a single tennis shoe.  Her arm stump flopped as she hopped.  “I couldn’t get my bra on - is it noticeable?”

Sarah looked up and smiled flirtatiously.  “I’ll help you get it on.” she said with a purr.

“Like you helped me get undressed...” Cathy teased.  “We can’t spend another hour like that.. well, not until later anyway.  So what are you doing?  I Can get crutches at the corner drugstore, why are you searching craigslist?”

“You might need crutches today - though unsteady as you are on your foot, I’d still say wheelchair is smarter - but what abotu tomorrow when you’re miggin both legs, or paralyzed again or worse?”

Cathy nodded and sat beside Sarah on the couch.  “You’ve given this a lot more thought than I have,”

“Well, it’s always been my devotee dream to find a sexy disabled partner and have to take care of her, come to her aid...  the devotee equivalent of damsel in distress.  You seem to qualify.”

“Ok, so what have we got - and what’s it going to cost me?”

The women went through the list and then made phone calls, arranging to pick things up throughout the day.

“I’m scared.” Cathy said as Sarah pushed her out the door with the clunker wheelchair.  “About people I know seeing me.”

“You wake up missing limbs randomly and THIS is what scares you?  You’re an interesting cripple.” Sarah teased.

The pair got to Cathy’s car and Mrs. Arnold, Cathy’s neighbor, walked out to get her mail.

“Good morning Cathy.” she called out in a friendly manner, staring right at Cathy in her wheelchair, stumps obvious.  “Who’s your friend?”
“Good morning Mrs. Arnold.” Cathy called out, startled.  “Um... this is Sarah, a friend of mine from out of town.  She’ll be staying with me for a while.”

“Nice to meet you, Sarah.” Mrs. Arnold called out, waving.

“Likewise, Mrs. Arnold.” Said Sarah with a smile.  Mrs. Arnold headed back into the house as Cathy clumsily slid into the passenger seat of her Honda.

“She-” Cathy started.

“Didn’t notice a thing out of place..” Sarah continued.  “I kind of suspected, after the way I saw you and you looked ‘normal’ to me, even though I knew you were paraplegic yesterday.  Whatever is happening, it’s only happening to you...”

“Well, I supposed that’s convenient.” Cathy said, confused.

“It weird, is what it is.  None of this should be possible, but it’s happening, so we’ll just have to go with it.”

“Thank you for that.” Cathy said, looking at Sarah.

“For what?”

“The ‘We’ in that sentence.  I don’t know what’s going on, but I feel a lot better having you here, so thanks.”

Sarah drove the pair to the various locations planned out earlier in the day and made a number of equipment purchases.  At some stops, Cathy’s condition made the purchases easier, even cheaper.  At other stops, it was sometimes difficult to explain why a woman in Cathy’s condition needed certain items.

“OK, last stop.” Sarah said, pulling into a long driveway.  “I hope we have enough room in the car...”

Sarah got out of the car and waved to the older gentleman just coming out of the house as she pulled Cathy’s wheelchair out of the trunk.  She helped Cathy into the clunker chair as the man watched, and pushed her up to talk to him.

“Hi there, are you John?  I’m Sarah and this is Cathy.  We called earlier.”

“Yes, that me - I see you really do need a chair.  Well, I’ve got what you need, right this way.”

He led the girls to a well maintained garage and sure enough, there were a pair of lightweight wheelchairs, both in nice shape.  Sarah helped Cathy sit in both a couple times, and finally a decision was made.

“That one is fine, it’s very comfortable.  Thank you.” Cathy said, and Sarah pulled out cash to pay John.  He took the money, then handed fifty back to Sarah with a smile and a nod.

“Um, we have a problem”  Sarah said after Cathy was back in the car.  “I can’t fit both wheelchairs in the car.  John - would you like this old one?”

“Sure, I’ll take it.” said John.  “Bring it over to the garage here.”

Sarah pushed the empty wheelchair over to the barn, then two minutes later came back bouncing.

“What got into you?” Cathy asked.  “Excited that I have a proper wheelchair now?”

“Not exactly.  John just pulled me aside - said it was obvious that you needed more than a second hand push chair in your condition, then ranted a little about the state of healthcare.”

“And?”

“And he has a power wheelchair in the house, it belonged to his daughter - all the chairs did - and he’s willing to give it to you.  He’s delivering it tonight.”

“What?” Cathy said.  “How much?”

“He said he didn’t want anything for it, but I insisted on two hundred.”

“It’s awfully nice of you to insist on giving him two hundred dollars of my money.” teased Cathy.

“Well, we don’t know what’s going on with you, and your disabilities are totally random, so it’s very possible you’ll need one... we won’t have a van, but it’s a strong start.”

Cathy and Sarah returned home around dinner time and Cathy sat in her new wheelchair and struggled to wheel herself to the door by using her good arm and good foot, but since both amputations were on the same side, it was tricky to keep going in a straight line.  Sarah eventually helped, then made several trips to and from the car, putting the spoils of the day into Cathy’s spare bedroom.

“Well, we should be ready for about half of anything that could possibly happen tomorrow morning.” Sarah said as Cathy examined the various crutches, slings, and other equipment spread out on the bed and leaned against walls. “I’ll install these after dinner.” she held up tub and toilet grab bars.

“Thanks.  You really do know a lot about this stuff.”

“Life long devotee of disabled women - since age six.” Sarah said.  “And before the internet, there wasn’t much out there, so I ordered a lot of medical equipment catalogs, things like that.  I picked up a few things.”

“It came later for me - about the same time I realized I was gay, I realized that women in wheelchairs or on crutches did ‘something’ to me.  It was hard to come to terms with.  And now...” she indicated her stump.  “I wonder if this is because of my devotee feelings, the universe ‘getting back’ at me?”

“No - I’ve been way more hardcore into it Cath, and look at me - still as able bodied as ever.  No, this is something different, something personal.  You piss off any Gypsies?”

“Very funny - Gypsies aren’t even real...” Cathy smirks.

“They’re not?” Sarah asked, pushing Cathy into the dining room.

“Nah - I read it on the internet.”  Cathy said, giggling.

“Well then it must be true.” Sarah laughed.

In the middle of dinner there was a knock on the door.  John had arrived with the power chair, and Cathy made a good show of being eternally grateful, even crying a bit.  She got in the fancy padded chair and saw that the hand control was already adjust for her.   John gave her some quick lessons, and she promised to practice.  Cathy gave John a big one-armed hug and he nearly cried too.  They said thank you again and promised to keep in touch, and Cathy waved to John from her new wheelchair as he drove away.

“OK, that is the sexiset thing ever.” Sarah said, watching Cathy practice driving it.

“Yeah, it’s amazing.” Cathy admitted. “And so comfortable!  I feel a little bad though - John seemed nice, and I feel like we kind of -”

“You are a multiple amputee, and tomorrow you could be worse.  You have very real disabilities, who knows why, but we also have no indication that they’re going to stop happening, so for all intents and purposes, we were totally honest with John - you DO need a power wheelchair, and insurance definitely won’t cover it.  We just left some of the more interesting details of the situation out...  Now what do you want to do tonight?”

“Watch ‘Push Girls and masturbate?” Cathy said with a smirk.

“It’s like we’re twins.” Sarah said, then sat on the couch and patted the seat next to her.  “Make sure you sit here, so you can rub your stump against me while we watch.”

“Are you ever not horny?”

“Sexy, devotee-friendly disabled woman in a wheelchair sitting in front of me.. hmmm, let me see, am I ever not horny...  Is that a trick question?”

“You want me to rub anything special with my stump?” Caty asked, showing off her smooth round BK stump in a seductive way.”

“We should sit on towels so we don’t ruin your couch.  And what time is Push Girls on?” Sarah sighed, already starting to slip off her top.

Tuesday - Random Number 38

“Oh boy.” Cathy said as she woke up.  She felt lighter, and also more balanced.  Her arms both ended between elbow and shoulder, and with a wiggle she knew both legs ended mid-thigh.  “I’m going to need a lot more help today, Sarah.”

Sarah rolled over and kissed Cathy’s stumps.  “Let me get coffee on, then I’ll help you get cleaned up.  I’ve already put the shower chair in the bathtub for you.”

“How the hell am I going to get to work today?” Cathy asked as Sarah pulled the sheet off.

“Mmm, I don’t think I want you to, baby.” Sarah said, eying Cathy the Quadruple Amputee hungrily.

“There will be plenty of time for that later, and honestly I’m really looking forward to it in this condition, but I HAVE to get to work, and I’m a quadruple amputee!”  She sat up in bed.  “How am I going to use a computer with no hands? Not to mention without a van I can’t get to work in the power wheelchair, and I can’t exactly push the manual one.” she held up her stumps.

“We’ll... we’ll figure it out.  Is there a bus you can catch to work?”

“I have a car, I’ve never even checked.” Cathy said, feeling frustrated.  “This is really frustrating.”

“We’ll figure it out, and we’ll get you through it. I’ll help you get through it.”

Cathy leaned over, hugged Sarah with her arm stumps, and kissed her deeply.” Sarah returned the hug and kiss, while also slipping a hand down to caress one of Cathy’s smooth leg stumps. Cathy sighed and smiled, pushing her stump into Sarah’s hand more firmly, confirming she enjoyed to sensation.

“Let’s get you in your wheelchair.” Sara said.

“I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of hearing you say that.“ Cathy smiled.

The Curse Part 2 - Sunday and Monday

Cathy stretched and grabbed her smart phone off the dresser and sent an email to Sarah, her only female online devotee friend - at least she hoped Sarah was female.  She just sent a simple message - ‘something’s happened, call me.’ and left her number.  Then she waited.

Her legs were definitely useless.  As Cathy sat there in bed, she touched them, lifted one and let it flop limply to the bed, and touched her sex. It didn’t give her nearly the thrill she expected it too, but her lifelong wheelchair devotee feelings were definitely starting to kick in.  She found herself starting to happily anticipate getting into a wheelchair and wheeling around with useless paralyzed legs.  The phone rang suddenly and made Cathy jump.

“What’s up Cathy?” Came a female voice on the phone.  “I was shocked to see your email and your phone number - I thought you never gave that out to online friends.”

Cathy tried to calmly explain her situation - the loss of an arm yesterday and today’s paralysis.

“Is this a joke, Cathy?  Some kind of roleplay?  Because I’m into it, but...”

Cathy thought quick and took a picture of her legs with her phone and sent it to Sarah.

“Holy shit - those are some amazing legs girl!”  Sarah said once she had seen the image.  “You’re serious, that’s you?”

“That’s me, and I need help.  Can you help?  I don’t know who else to call.”

“I just put your address into google - it looks like you’re about five hours away.  Can you wait that long?”

“Do I have a choice?” Cathy asked.  “I don’t think I can even get out of bed, I have no sensation or movement starting below my breasts, no abdominal muscles control, and my arms are definitely not strong enough.. I was barely able to sit up.  I definitely need help.”

“Well I’m on my way - I’ll see you around, um... two, I guess.   Do you need me to bring anything else?”

“Lunch - I’m already hungry, and I’m not going to make it to the kitchen any time soon...”

A little after 1:30 Cathy’s phone rang again.  It was Sarah.

“I just pulled up, Cathy.  Is the door unlocked?”

“No, but there’s a key in a little grey fake rock to the left of the door in the flower bed.”

“OK, be right in.” Sarah said.  Cathy heard the door open and Sarah’s voice call out.

“I’m in here, bedroom at the end of the hall.” Cathy called out.  She was hungry and uncomfortable and just wanted to know what the hell was going on.

Sarah came in pushing a standard hospital style wheelchair and smiled.

“Well you weren’t kidding. It’s weird though - I look at you like this and it just seems natural, I don’t question it at all, even though you’ve told me this just happened overnight. It’s odd, but I can’t really put my finger on it...” She said as she touched one of Cathy’s crippled legs.  Cathy saw the touch but felt nothing - it was an odd sensation, but not an unpleasant one.

“No, I wasn’t.  I have no idea what’s going on, but I really want to get out of bed, and I’m starving!”

“Ok, first things’ first - let’s get you cleaned up and into your wheelchair, then I’ve got a big bag of Chilis in the dining room.”

Sara helped Cathy lay down, then took out clean wipes and Cathy cleaned herself thoroughly - with a little help from Sarah, holding her legs for her.  Then Sarah pulled out a package of adult Depends diapers, and Cathy didn’t even protest when Sarah slipped the diaper onto her.  A pair of yoga pants, slipper socks, and a t-shirt completed the mismatched ‘I’m handicapped now’ outfit, and Sarah carefully helped Cathy into the wheelchair, lifting her and settling her into the seat.

Cathy immediately slumped forward and to the side, her feet flopping off the footrests as she nearly slipped out of the chair.  Sarah caught her and made she she didn’t fall.

“Hmmm - slippery pants, smooth cheap vinyl seat, and zero abdominal muscle control.  I didn’t think this through.” Sarah said.  She looked around the room and spotted something.  “Can you hold yourself up with your hands, Cathy?”

“Sure, for a minute or two anyway.” Cathy said, a white-knuckle death grip on the wheelchair armrests.

Sarah pulled a long belt from Cathy’s bathrobe and wrapped it around Cathy, just below her breasts, and around the wheelchair.  “How’s that - too tight?”

“No, it feels OK.”  Cathy let go and she didn’t slide forward.  “Looks like it worked.  Good thinking.”

“It’s not going to work long term, but at least we can have lunch.” Sarah said, then started pushing Cathy in her wheelchair out to the dining room.  She parked the chair and and then served lunch, which Cathy dove into.

“Thank you.” Cathy finally said after most of her burger was gone.  “I didn’t know who else to call, and have no idea what’s going on.  You drove five hours for what probably sounded like a crazy person - or a trap.  I don’t know if I would have done the same.”

“Believe me, I almost didn’t come, but there was just something about the sound in your voice, the fear - and then the picture.”

“The picture made you believe me?”

“Well, I figured it was either you or you had access to some really hot stuff and maybe you could get me more....”

“So this still turns you on - like, the devotee side of you?”

“Oh god yes - you have no idea how hard it was for me not to suck on your toes or something while I was helping you out in there.  I’m incredibly turned on - you know how much I love para girls.  But I have to say - you need a better wheelchair...”

“Yeah, tell me about it - where did you get this thing?  Not that i’m not grateful - I love being out of bed finally - but god what a clunker.”

“It was the best I could do for fifty bucks.  I’m not what you call ‘wealthy’, and between the wheelchair, a few other supplied, gas, and lunch, my bank balance is looking thinner than your legs.”

“I can help with that, no worries.  But first.. as a thank you for all you’ve done... you want to take a crippled girl to bed?”

“Are you serious?” Sarah asked, eyes wide.

“I’m curious too... I’ve always been turned on by para girls, even fantasized I was one a few times... How often do girls like us get an opportunity like this?”

“You don’t have to ask twice.” said Sarah, and pushed Cathy in her wheelchair back to the bedroom.  She stripped the soiled sheets and re-made the bed before carefully transferring Cathy back into it, then undressing her down to her diaper.

“We should keep that on.” Cathy said, touching her diaper.

“We’ll see.” Smiled Sarah, slowly undressing herself and slipping into bed beside Cathy.

Sarah kissed and caressed Cathy’s legs and feet as Cathy stroked Sarah’s full breasts and ran her fingers through Sarah’s hair.  The women explored Cathy’s paralysis slowly, sensually, not speaking, just touching and observing.  The lovemaking lasted several hours and flowed from soft and sensual to fast and erotic and back again, like waves crashing on beach.

Cathy was sitting on the couch in the living room, having been transferred by Sarah.  Her wheelchair was parked nearby.  Sara came in bearing bags of chinese food and Cathy smiled.

“Ah, a feast fit for a crippled queen.” Cathy said, and Sara set a tray table up in front of Cathy and served her.

“I’m glad you’re enjoying this.” Sarah said playfully.

“I was enjoying it earlier, now... I hate feeling this helpless.  It’s like I can’t do anything.  Having my arm missing, that was awkward, but I could DO things.  This-” she indicated her paralyzed lower half “- I can barely do anything on my own.  I don’t like it.”

“You know as well as I do that with the right wheelchair and physical therapy, a paralyzed woman can live every bit as fun and full a life as anyone else.  We’ll get you a nice sporty chair and start hitting the gym, building up those arm muscles.”

“Did you say ‘we’?  Don’t you have a home and a job to get back to?”

“Well, I’m, um... between employment opportunities currently, and you obviously need help around the house until you get back on your feet - figuratively speaking.  Besides - I’m sure I’m not the only one curious about the big question, the elephant in the room....”

“Yeah - what happens tomorrow... I know, I’ve been trying not to think about it.  If I’m still paralyzed, then maybe I’m insane.  If I’ve somehow got a different disability, maybe the world is insane...”

“So, I’ll stick around, if that’s OK with you.  I Can sleep on the couch.”

“And leave me alone in that great big bed?  I wouldn’t dream of it.  And yes, you can stay as long as you need to.  Thank you again.”

The pair watched movies until late, then Sarah helped Caty get to bed before climbing in herself.  the pair fell asleep side by side, with Sarah rubbing Cathy’s paralyzed thigh.

Monday - Random Number 36

Cathy woke feeling like she had to pee, which meant she was no longer paralyzed.  She also realized immediately that her right arm was again gone between the elbow and shoulder.  A quick further check under the covers and she saw her right leg ended in another smooth round stump just below her knee.

“Well, the world is crazy.” Cathy said out loud, struggling to sit up.  Sarah stirred and woke.

“What happened?” Sarah said sleepily.  Cathy wiggled her arm stump at her.

“Right, you’re an amputee.. wait, that’s not... I’m confused.  I’m remembering making love with you paralyzed, but seeing your stumps just seems natural... like you’ve always had them.”

“Really?  Because trust me.. I haven’t.” Cathy said, standing tentatively and balancing.  She hopped one-legged to the bathroom, using a wall as support, and took care of things there before hopping back.

“OK, I’m not into amputees Cathy, but that was hot...” Sarah said, still in bed and looking aroused.

“I’m sure it was, but it’s Monday, and I’ve got a problem.”

“What problem? Well, other than the obvious.”

“I have a job I need to get to, and I’m a double amputee.” she said, waving her arm stump and kicking with her leg stump.

“Call in sick.  I think this qualifies.”

“I probably should.” Cathy sighed.

“Probably?  What will you do, hop there?”

Cathy sat in the wheelchair and use her remaining arm and leg to move about.  “This works OK.” she said after wheeling about the room.

“Call in sick, and we’ll get a better handle on this, maybe get you better equipment - a nicer chair and some crutches, at least.”

Cathy thought about it, then made the call. Her boss wasn’t thrilled, but gave Cathy the day.

“I have to be in tomorrow, though...” Cathy said nervously.  “No matter what.”

“Well then we’ve got some work to do today - where’s your computer, I feel a CragisList shopping spree coming on...

New Story - The Curse

This is an idea I had recently and I want to build it into a story and possibly even regular blog entries.  The concept is this - the main character (Me, because that's how I roll...) gets caught snapping candid devotee pictures of an old gypsy woman's wheelchair-bound granddaughter (who is over 18, of course), and puts a curse on the devotee.  Every morning, she wakes up with a new, totally random disability and has to live out that day in that condition.  Once she goes to bed and wakes up the next day, she changes again.

Anyway, here's a quick start to the story, I want to do more and as I said, maybe even turn it into a blog of some sort... like 'Dear Diary, this morning I woke up with no legs...'

_________________________
Cathy saw the woman wheeling through the mall and took out her camera phone without thinking.  She didn’t usually take public candid shots, wasn’t even a big fan of them, but this woman was stunning, with long dark flowing hair, wearing a very stylish skirt and blouse with dark stockings on her amazing, perfectly paralyzed legs, and - one of Cathy’s favorite things - no shoes, just soft slipper socks on her turned-in feet.  It wasn’t her typical thing, but for a sighting like this, Cathy couldn’t help but get a souvenir.

Unfortunately, Cathy was so focused on the gorgeous paragirl wheeling by that she didn’t notice the older woman, the woman with the long grey hair, wearing beads and silver trinkets and rings on every figure.  The woman saw Cathy though, saw the camera phone, saw Cathy snapping pictures and taking video of the woman in the wheelchair, her granddaughter.  The woman moved up behind Cathy silently and, without being noticed, clipped a lock of Cathys red hair and slipped it into a thick silver locket.  She whispered words that few people in this century could have translated, and she smiled and nodded as she caught Cathy’s eye.  Cathy felt a chill and suddenly felt uneasy.

Saturday Morning
Cathy woke with sunlight streaming into her bedroom and immediately realized her right arm was gone midway between shoulder and elbow.  The stump didn’t hurt, and Cathy couldn’t even see a scar - her arm just ended six inches below her shoulder.  She couldn’t really think of anything obvious to do in such a situation, so she fell back on thirty years of horror movie programming - she screamed.
Once the scream didn’t work, Cathy assessed the situation - no blood, no pain, no immediate or apparent medical danger.  She just had a stump... and she had to pee.  OK, she thought to herself - this will be interesting.
Cathy went through parts of her daily routine - she used the bathroom and, with some effort, figure out how to brush her teeth, squeezing the toothpaste between her stump and body as she held the toothbrush with her left hand.  She squeezed out way too much, but she was happy she figured it out.
Each little accomplishment in her new condition became a thrill - opening the peanut butter jar by holding it between her thighs, making coffee, buttering toast.  Everything was so much harder without a right arm, but Cathy was starting to get the hang of it.  She even cut a grapefruit in half by holding it between her feet and cutting with the knife in her left hand - that took some practice, but she was so excited that she was able to do it.
Cathy spent the day in the house - she didn’t want to go out and have people see her like this, she still had no idea what had happened and what she was going to do.  She knew she needed to tell someone, talk to someone, maybe see a doctor, but it’s not like there was a wikipedia page for ‘mysterious sudden amputation’.  She watched TV and tried to figure out what to do, eventually not thinking of anything constructive.  She went to bed early and fell asleep rubbing her stump.

Sunday Morning.
Cathy yawned and stretched as the rain pattered against her windows, then realized - she stretched.  Both arms.  She had both arms again - all ten fingers.  Before she had fully come to terms with this new development, however, she realized something else and pulled the blankets off.  Her legs were there, but they looked all wrong, thin and with no tone, and she realized she couldn’t feel them at all.  As her head cleared she realized she had no feeling at all, starting  under her breasts, and her legs looked like they had been paralyzed for years.  She tried as hard as she could to wiggle her toes, but she couldn’t.  She couldn’t move anything below where her body lost feeling.
“What the hell is going on?” Cathy sighed, struggling to pull herself up to a sitting position.  There was a wet stain across the bed and she realized she must have peed, loss of bladder control.  Great.
“So where am I going to get a wheelchair?” she asked herself.  “And how am I even going to get out of bed?”

To be continued...
